Implode (To Odin)

He chose the modest slope on Skólavörðustígur toward Hallgrímskirkja. Newly arrived on the continent, he wore several layers to guard against the Nordic chill, though the biting wind and its reassuring whisper he found a comfort. Upon reaching its summit, there was no mistaking the Viking ode to Christianity. Still, its ascending spires with evident regard for Christ, appeared to be in search of Odin.
The young architect pulled the collar of his mid-layer nearer, to bring warmth to his person. He gazed at the remarkable columns, a freshly pressed espresso contributing to his warmth. He contemplated his own work, its subsequent worth, and whether the execution of passion alone would be enough to secure him a place in Valhalla.
